Kontos Databases was established in June 2006, and is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Our mission is to create jobs in South Africa
We do this by prodiving databases that add value to our customers, who in turn reward us with their continued support - enabling us to grow and thus employ more people.
Our vision is to build a sustainable empowerment engine
The fundamental principles of Empowerment are our long-term focus. We believe that since knowledge = power, education = empowerment. Thus we strive to uphold these principles by providing IT education, to both our employees and our community at large.
Our values are centered on transparancy and education
The software industry is shrouded in mystery. Many organisations pursue software investments, but the majority of these fail to show a worthwhile return. We succeed where others have failed by communicating openly and educating our customers. But most importantly, we know how to ask the right questions.
